On Saturday 1/31/2026, Penn State York Women's Basketball player, #2 Delaney Burroughs hit 1000 career points at the university.

As a Sophomore at the university, Delaney Burroughs became the youngest womens player at Penn State York to hit 1000 career points. 

 

Athletic director Jeff Barkdoll addressed the spectators after the 1000th point congratulating Burroughs with a gift of the basketball she had just scored for her achievement. Following the game Burroughs was again congratulated, surrounded by coaches, friends, family, and the team that helped her reach such an impressive milestone. Congratulations to Delaney Burroughs!
